The company’s strength is the combination of an experienced sales team and a vast distribution network with more than 2'000 resellers. Bucher + Walt SA is the exclusive wholesaler for more than 100 brands such as Lewmar, Ronstan, Seldén, Henri Lloyd, Garmin, Humminbird, Dakine, Spy, TSG, Liquid Force, Jobe and many more. These brands define the three main business sections of the company, which are water sports, action sports and electronics, a unique distribution mix for the Swiss market.

Bucher +Walt SA is focussed on products that are outstanding by their performance and a good price-quality ratio. The family owned company manages its own warehouse with over 25’000 products. The greatest attention is dedicated to customer service and B2B relationship: Requests and orders are processed within hours, and are dispatched the same day.

Bucher + Walt SA was founded in 1966 by Pierre Walt and Manfred Bucher. The successful racing sailors and friends turned their passion into a business. Success proved them right, as the company’s record shows.

Along the years, the warehouse evolved from a small garage with boat fittings imported from England to a modern facility with over 30'000 sq. ft. In 1975, the integration of the first computer gave a major advantage against the competitors. The actual company building and warehouse were built in 1984 in St-Blaise, close to the lake of Neuchatel.

The two founders enjoy working with their sons Romain Walt and Julien Bucher as well as with a team of professionals, who support the company with competence, passion and entrepreneurship. To be ready for the upcoming challenges, the company successfully implemented in 2015 a new ERP system.

​

In September 2019, new acquisition open a new era for the company. This new distributor  position on the european market and a couple of international projects make Bucher + Walt jump over the frontier and developp is activity on new market.
